Sales Manager

Cast UK are supporting a fantastic B2B Wholesaler with the recruitment process of a Sales Manager to oversee their key accounts which are located along the M62 Corridor. As the Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the achievement of sales revenue and profit objectives through the effective management of all the accounts within the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Promote long term business growth through the development and implementation of sales strategies
- Develop an annual Operating Plan for Territory accounts which specifies activities, timings and accountabilities
- Make input into the ongoing Sales Forecasting process through the provision of accurate estimates of Territory sales performance.
- Regularly monitor the sales and profit performance of the Territory Accounts, taking corrective action when necessary to protect objective achievement.
- Travel and manage accounts across Cumbria, Lancashire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and the Isle of Man
- To visit retail and wholesale outlets on a regular basis to monitoring customer performance
- Deliver a report on Territory account performance, as and when appropriate, to the Sales Director
- Keep other Sales Managers informed of account activity
- Attend and participate in quarterly Sales Meetings
- Champion the interests of each account in the portfolio
Requirements
- Experienced in field-based buying or selling roles
- Has extensive B2B experience
- Willing to travel across the M62 corridor and the surrounding areas to bring on new clients and develop existing accounts
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Possess excellent attention to detail, be self-driven and show initiative
- Excellent numerical skills
- Fully adept at using/developing all systems tools available
- Be confident and have a positive, professional, can do attitude
- Fantastic Sales and Negotiation skills
- Clear understanding of relationship between turn-over, standard costs, margins and rebates with ability to analyse accounts and grow contribution
- Key Account Management and Customer Service Experience
