Position Overview:
Seeking a talented and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join as a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and execution of automated tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
- Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Test Automation framework and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in Test Automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Test Automation Engineering.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for Test Automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with web application testing frameworks and technologies (e.g., Angular, Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with the Strapi product or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Salary:
£53,000 per annum, with an additional £3,000 bonus.
