SalaryThe role of Test Development Engineer will require you to take responsibility for the design, development and testing specifications of both hardware and software to ensure the highest quality test applications. General Description
Design and develop applications for the functional test of electronic and electrical products
Define the test approach and/or specifications and document the project scope for each project
And generate test programmes using LabVIEW and TestStand
Technical Requirements:
Engineering qualification in electronic/electrical engineering, ideally a degree though we would consider HNC/HND in-depth relevant functional test experience
Currently employed in a Test Development role within an electronic manufacturing environment
Software design and using languages/tools LabVIEW and Test Stand, to produce functional test programmes for electronic products. 5 years + Essential
Experience of electronic hardware design, including use of schematic CAD
Previous experience of equipment interfaces (e.g. fixtures), test system architecture and basic electro-mechanical engineering would be an advantage

Currently holds security clearance, or agreeable and eligible to obtain required level of security clearance
Able to travel within UK and overseas occasionally
Full UK or EU Drivers Licence with own transport
