Test & Development Engineer

About you
This is a key role in the testing and development of our prototype vehicles. Multiple vehicles will be tested in parallel and you will be working closely with the development lead to create comprehensive plans that validate legislative design, production and customer requirements.
You will be passionate and methodical in the testing programme with vehicle tests taking place on site, in the local area or remotely at testing facilities.
As someone who is great at building strong working relationships, you will be a team player, working with teams across the business to help understand the progress of the vehicle and collaborate to troubleshoot effectively.
You will need to have a broad understanding of technical systems, if you have HGV experience this would be a benefit. Your experience with CAN based data logging tools such as Vector or CANalyzer will enable you to it the ground running.
You will be someone who has worked in whole vehicle testing. You may have had exposure to EV- related vehicles although this is not essential. What is essential is that you are someone who can adapt and flex to the differing needs of the vehicle test programme and work with the lead to improve and enhance the process as we tackle new vehicles.
