We are seeking to recruit a Test Engineer to join a leading innovator in domestic heating and cooling systems, specialising in cutting-edge heat pump technology and efficient hot water cylinders. Your new role
In your new role of Test Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and functionality of our clients' products. From initial feasibility testing to full product evaluation, your expertise will drive excellence across our range. You'll be responsible for creating comprehensive reports that document the results of product testing. Utilising LabVIEW, you'll write code to automate testing procedures and extract relevant data. As part of your new role, you will design and set up test scenarios, ensuring accurate execution of product tests. Organising and maintaining technical documentation related to testing processes and results. Other duties will include: collaborating with the team to enhance product performance and reliability, assembling and testing prototypes to validate design concepts, ensuring that testing milestones align with project schedules and coordinating with external partners for testing and certification.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing the Test Engineers role, you should be coming with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in product testing and development within a manufacturing environment, and you should have proficiency in LabVIEW, enabling you to write code, extract results, and optimise testing procedures. We are also ideally hoping to see candidates with project management skills and familiarity with Thermodynamics and heat transfer technology would be advantageous.
