Test Engineer

Test engineer.

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineers to work for one of our clients on temporary basis.

• the contract is for 8-16 weeks, starting end on March/beginning of April.
• company is based in Hull.
• working hours Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm
• hourly rate £14 - £16

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to work within the Engineering department, to oversee the test process on all parts leaving production.

Some duties as a Test Engineer:

-          Thoroughly check materials and procedures

-          Analysing data

-          Collecting data

-          Being able to wright engineers’ reports,

-          Fault finding

-          Using handheld computers to conduct tests, taking measurements and readings,

-          Controls programming not essential as training can be given,

-          Liaising with the production management team

This role will involve working in a noisy environment, some lifting at times and repetitive tasks. The candidate will need to be methodical, structed and organised.

Ideally you should also have experience of:

• Excellent Attention to detail
• Following detailed technical instructions
• Working in a technical hands-on environment
• Strong team-working abilities and communication skills.
• Able to use own initiative and make decisions,
• Good computer skills & knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
