Testing Technician / Test Engineer / Test and Compliance Engineer
We are looking for a Testing Technician / Test Engineer / Test and Compliance Engineer to manage the in-house test facility for an award-winning Marine Company based in Exeter.

Up to £30,000 depending on experience.

Testing Technician / Test Engineer / Test and Compliance Engineer Duties
Take ownership of the product and manage the testing and compliance procedures.
Take the lead in ensuring that our products comply with regulations around the world by anticipating and responding to impending changes.
Oversee collaborations about product compliance testing.
Direct product testing during the whole process of development.
Work together with managers of design and quality to develop your own product test specifications.
Create strategies, reports, standards, methods, and processes for testing.
Carry out practical product testing as needed.
Take part in product risk evaluations to proactively reduce potential risks, such as FMEA.
Requirements of Testing Technician / Test Engineer / Test and Compliance Engineer
Mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline at Level 4 (HNC) or above.
Excellent analytical reasoning, written communication, and logical thinking capabilities.
Excellent project management abilities, able to manage several projects at once.
It is advantageous to have experience overseeing worldwide product compliance, including RoHS, CE, UKCA, REACH, Prop 65, and other pertinent standards.
Prior 5s and 6s, RCCA, and problem-solving experience is advantageous
