Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics/Recovery | Theatre | Band 5/6 dependent on experience .

Cambridge | Full Time I No Nights

We are recruiting for experienced Anaesthetics and Recovery Practitioners to join our clients friendly and supportive team. Long days are available for this role and they can offer you the opportunity to further your career.

It is important that our clients Theatre staff are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision. They are keen to promote from within, so if you are looking for a long-term career with advancement opportunities this is the role for you.

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

Duties and responsibilities:

• You will be required to provide exemplary patient care carrying out Scrub, anaesthetic and/or recovery duties in a theatre setting.

• Supporting in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload

• Promoting best practise and contributing towards quality improvements

Who we're looking for:

• You must be a qualified Nurse or ODP with experience in anaesthetics and recovery or scrubbing

• You hold a valid NMC or HCPC pin with no conditions or restrictions

• Be able to build and hold relationships with consultants

• Excellent communication skills
