We have an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner, that specialises in Orthopaedic Scrub, to join a dedicated team in Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare.
Our client’s hospital has access to some of the latest technology and equipment within their nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, allowing them to perform complex surgeries and procedures than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
The facilities include five state-of-the-art operating theatres, an intensive care unit, including 66 patient rooms with en-suite, set in the grounds of a country park.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern consisting of days, lates, long days, short days, weekends and on call, however, there is a lot of flexibility and the opportunity to swap shifts twice a week.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Ortho Scrub.
Duties of this role include:
To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care.
To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
Assist in the delivery of patient care.
Contribute to quality improvement.
Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self.
Apply and promote best evidence based practice within own scope of practice.
