We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Theatre Practitioner, to join a dedicated team in Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare.
Our client’s hospital has a total of 4 theatres and you'll be overseeing a small team of 6 with the support from your Deputy Manager, Theatre Manager and a team of other Leads.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Saturday between the hours of 7:30am - 6pm, with no theatre lists on Sundays or bank holidays.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Senior and Leadership roles
Experienced in coordination, ordering, mentoring and leading of others.
Duties of this role include:
To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care.
To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
Assist in the delivery of patient care.
Contribute to quality improvement.
Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self.
Apply and promote best evidence based practice within own scope of practice.
