, To support the departmental lead(s) in maintaining an efficient and effective service delivering safe patient care within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing health care needs., , This post combines clinical practice with the leadership responsibilities of day-to-day shift coordination. You will provide supervisory management and leadership skills and be motivated towards self-development in both management and leadership studies., , You will continually support and work in conjunction with the Team Managers to ensure the effective delivery of high standards of nursing care. , , You will be expected to lead on a day-to-day basis the running of specialist clinical area/ department, and when allocated will act as the daily coordinator for the department, providing supervisory management and leadership skills in an environment which is complex and pressurized., , At this level the post holder is expected to work as a skilled emergency Practitioner working autonomously to support other colleagues to co-ordinate the clinical areas and to provide specialised knowledge ensuring the maintenance and development of a skilled nursing /Practitioner workforce., , Participate in an on call and night rota, on AFC terms.
