Job Type: Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours

Salary: £36,000 to £41,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a Theatre PractitionerOrthopaedic Scrub to join the theatre team at a prestigious private healthcare provider in the Swindon area

The main duties of the Theatre PractitionerOrthopaedic Scrub role include:

  • Providing safe and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative phase is a primary objective. Additionally, aiding in the coordination and administration of care within the Operating Department is essential.
  • Supporting the delivery of patient care.
  • Contributing to advancements in quality improvement.
  • Facilitating the growth of skills and knowledge in oneself and others.
  • Advocating and practicing the best evidence-based methodologies within one's scope of practice.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Valid registration with either the NMC or HCPC.
  • Possession of a Nurse or ODP degree.
  • Prior experience in a theatre environment, specifically within Ophthalmic services, is essential.
  • Possession of ILS certification.
  • Certification in mentorship.
  • 1st level registered nurse with current experience in Theatre within an acute care setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
