Position Overview:
They are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Practitioner specialising in Scrub and Recovery to join a vibrant healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding perioperative care, contributing to the overall success of their surgical services.
Key Details:
Employment Type: Full-time (37.5 hrs)
Salary: Up to 35,000 per annum
Location: Glasgow
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub for surgical procedures, maintaining the highest standards of aseptic technique.
- Provide expert recovery care for patients post-surgery, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate closely with surgical and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless perioperative care.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating room, including the sterilisation and maintenance of equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Practitioner with valid NMC or HCPC registration.
- Significant experience in a Scrub and Recovery role within a theatre setting.
- Proficient in a variety of surgical procedures and Recovery care.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
