Resolve Recruitment are delighted to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking insurer who have an exciting opportunity available for Third Party Claims Handlers to join their fast-paced claims division.

This is a progressive, customer focused role, suitable for candidates who like to work in a fast-paced environment.

Your role as a Third Party Claims Handler is to proactively record and process claims in accordance with our principles and procedures, and to maintain files within our service standards. You'll deal with allocated claims as quickly and efficiently as possible from outset to conclusion within FCA regulations, and legislative and policy guidelines.

Purpose of Role

  • To effectively manage a portfolio of motor claims encompassing Third Party damage and accident damage from infancy through to settlement.
  • Validate claims with application of fraud and indemnity knowledge.
  • Exhaust all investigation avenues to facilitate accurate and prompt assessment of liability
  • Provide excellent service to all stakeholders
  • Ensure that indemnity spend is minimised with application of effective liability decision making and commercial considerations.
  • Application of accurate reserves in line with company guidelines.
  • Generate ideas to contribute towards the continuous improvement of the team.

Critical Competencies

  • Previous experience working within financial services (Motor Insurance an advantage)
  • Experience of handling motor claims (including reserving)
  • Proven experience in liaising with insurers, claimants and/or defendants
  • Understanding of liability, reserving, assessment, payments, different claimants and claimant representatives
  • Good MS office skills

Working hours / salary:

Hybrid working of 4 days from home and 1 day in the office after probation (3 / 6 Months)

  • Generous basic salary of up to £27,000 - Depending on experience
