T&I Procurement Manager

T&I Procurement Manager required for a major offshore wind developer based in the UK
Responsibilities
Work within the procurement function for the project as a member of the Procurement Team, reporting to the Contracts & Procurement Manager.Identification and selection of suppliers to be invited to submit responses to Call for Tenders (CfT) and Expressions of Interest (EoI).Managing the negotiation and award of contracts for goods and services in consultation with the wider project team and shareholder category teams in accordance with best–value and approved procedures.Undertake the procurement of goods and services and associated activities to agreed project and commercial objectives including, but not limited to, the following:Support with contracting strategy development to be prepared for approval by Project Director / Project Board / Shareholders as required;Preparation and issuing of CfT, EoI & Non–Disclosure Agreements;Leading the evaluation of commercial element of bids and coordinating inputs from the wider evaluation team (technical, legal, HSE);Negotiate terms & conditions with preferred suppliers;Ensuring timely contract awards;Writing Contract Award Recommendations which will seek approval from Project Director / Project Board / Shareholders to award contracts.Contract Management responsibility for the contracts that have been negotiated including:Seeking internal approval and managing Variation Orders for changes to scopes of work;Drafting and responding to contractual communications to be issued to contractors;Maintaining contractual registers.Requirements
Must be able to travel ideally 2 days per week to Edinburgh or London office.
