As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of Glenfairn House Care Home, leading a team of Care professionals and with a passion and commitment for delivering the highest standards of care to our residents. You will form strong relationships with staff, residents and their families and your presence in the home will be pivotal to its success.

Where you’ll work

 

Glenfairn is based in the seaside town of Ayr, located on Racecourse Road , set in a Victorian building with beautiful gardens.  A recently refurbished home.  We have the capacity for 61 residents over 3 floors.   We support older people over the age of 65 with various frailties and cognitive impairments.  We support people with personal care, nutrition and hydration, and meaningful connections.  We have an established activity programme.  We are a large but close staff team.   Flexible hours can be considered. Our home is close to all major public transport link in the town and a 5-minute walk away for the town centre.

 

You will have previous experience in a residential and/or nursing setting.

You’ll have previous experience in a residential setting, along with strong operational management experience. A current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
