Onboarding Team Manager

£36,502 - £38,423 per year

We have an opportunity for an Onboarding Team Manager to join our team based in Hull. The Onboarding Team manage the delivery of our high-quality housing support service that meets the identified needs of our prospective and current customers in accordance with allocation and lettings procedures. The role will manage a small team of approximately 5 staff.
The role of Onboarding Team Manager will include:
- Manage a team to ensure administrative systems are managed effectively and efficiently to support the delivery of accurate & up to date waiting lists
- Manage the provision of a range of housing options which helps customers maximise the search for suitable accommodation, advising on our allocations policy in accordance with policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Manage a team to deliver a high-quality service, focussing housing customers and rightsizing opportunities, ensuring applicant's information is effectively administered, to enable the right homes for customers
- Ensure the key management process for terminating tenancies is followed in a timely and effective manner, liaising with customers and internal teams
- Manage the effective recruitment, performance, and development of the team, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively
- Respond to complaints and customer feedback to meet customer expectations, effectively communicating progress and outcomes to the customer
Skills and experiences:
- Experience of delivery high quality tenancy services
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Previous experience of managing staff
- Experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience in the use of housing management systems, such as DocuSign, Abritias, Huume, Locata or similar, is desirable
- Relevant professional qualification, preferably in a business-related subject
