We’re looking for a Specialist Project Worker to join our team at Granby Street. You’ll be working in partnership with the Local Service Manager to deliver excellent outcome-focused support.

We have our own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

The role of Specialist Project Worker will include:

• To work closely with the local authority and other partners to ensure the customers receive the appropriate support required
• To ensure the smooth daily running of the service at all times and to promote the service effectively to others
• Working closely with staff and clients to deliver a high quality, intensive housing management
• Overseeing and monitoring the quality of risk tools, assessments, and referrals
• Liaising with staff and customers with a focus on maintaining licences and move on objectives

• Promoting safe working practices by undertaking risk assessments to support, reduce or eliminate risks

• Completing and monitoring health and safety checks within the service
• Recording information daily and inter-agency records
• Local out of hours on call 1 week in 5 covering all services

Skills and experiences:

• Previous housing related support is essential
• NVQ3 in Health & Social Care is desirable
• Strong communication skills and experience of working with vulnerable people

• Sound knowledge of housing management including rents, tenancies and health and safety
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
• The ability to work on your own initiative
• The ability to react effectively under pressure
• Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence is essential
