We are working with an established client based in Telford who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Toolroom Engineer to join their team. You will be reporting into the Supervisor on shift and will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks within the workshop such as adjustments and repairs to extrusion tooling, and supporting with any tooling concerns or issues that may arise.

This opportunity is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern Days Only.

The Toolroom Engineer will be responsible for:

• Carry out repairs and adjustments to Extrusion tooling
• Complete a variety of tasks within a workshop environment
• Support with any tooling concerns that may arise
• Read engineering drawings to complete tasks
• Ensure quality standards are met
• Assist with continuous improvement activities
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Work as part of a team or individually

Skills and Experience

• Similar experience within a tooling or toolroom role
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Previous experience with CNC machines would be advantageous
• Previous experience with tooling would be beneficial
• Computer literate
• Willing and eager to learn new skills
• This role would suit a candidate who has previous experience as a Tooling Apprentice / Toolroom Engineer / Tooling Engineer / Toolroom Technician / Tooling Technician / Junior Tooling Engineer / Junior Tooling Technician
