    Role Overview:


    As a Tooling Solutions Architect, you will be a key contributor to the University's technological advancement, ensuring that their tools and services within IT Services align seamlessly with their business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of technological innovation in a prestigious academic setting.



    Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Duties:



    • Collaborate with enterprise architects to analyse the enterprise business context and derive future-state technology architecture.

    • Lead the development of tooling architectures within IT services, optimizing tools to their full potential within the University ecosystem.

    • Drive digital innovation by identifying and leveraging innovative technologies to enhance their core technology base.

    • Manage the target design, policies, and standards for technology tooling within business change programs.

    • Define high-level migration plans to bridge the gap between current and future states, aligning with budgeting and capital planning processes.

    • Consult on application or infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with enterprise technology architecture.

    • Identify and assess new and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impacts, threats, and opportunities for the University.

    • Develop guidelines for monitoring emerging technologies and create technology roadmaps aligning with strategic plans.

    • Engage with stakeholders to obtain commitment to infrastructure technology roadmaps, influencing the adoption of emerging technologies.
