NRL have a fantastic opportunity for a TP137 Site Manager with a leading client within the Transmission and Distribution sector. Our client is looking for a Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new build substation on the outskirts of London. You will be overseeing the entire construction phase from civils, to M&E and commissioning.
This position is a 3 year project on a 6 months rolling contract.
As a Site Manager you will be tasked with the operations on site including:
- Directing and organising site activities to ensure that the planned work is delivered safely and on time
- Monitoring performance and ensure that it meets recognised standards and productivity
- QA/QC and compliance of scheduled works
- Complete necessary reporting with internal and external stakeholders and parties
To be suitable for this role the ideal candidate will need to have the below:
- National Grid Competent Person NSI 6 & 8 Full
- Previous TP 137 appointment
- Minimum of 8 years experience working within the HV sector
- Minimum 5 years experience Site Management experience of HV Substation construction
- Full UK driving license

Rate of pay - £475 per day
IR35 status - Out of scope
Schedule:
50hrs a week, based on 5 x 10 hours days, plus travel to client or contractor offices
