Reporting to the Head of Finance (HoF), the purpose of this role is to: Provide 6-month contract specialist support to move Abertay from TRAC dispensation to TRAC compliance, ensuring Abertay has a TRAC compliant model including Governance, Income & Cost Allocation and Cost Centre Analysis of finance system Prepare documentation and guidance during contract, to allow internal members of team to take on annual TRAC duties thereafter. Role Specific Duties and Responsibilities Review current TRAC dispensation process, and create fully documented oversight process, ensuring TRAC compliance model for Abertay Create meaningful and documented oversight process for Abertays Governing Body, including TRAC oversight group and calander of events/actions Review work load plans and create work load model for TRAC, including identification of appropriate cost drivers, cost centre analysis and direct cost/indirect costs. Document model, and pass this knowledge onto internal staff, who will have responsibility for this moving forward. Provide adhoc support to other members of the University as required. The post is 6-month fixed term contract post (or equivalent), and as the University supports flexible working, this role would be considered for a home working role, although some Dundee office would be required throughout the post, dependent on specific work at that time.
