Trade Counter Sales Assistant

Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant who can not only meet customer expectations but exceed them.
Monday to Friday
7.00am - 4.30pm (with a 45 minute lunch break)
Saturdays are on a rota system and will be 2-3 out of 4 a month, 7.30am - 10.30am.

Key Responsibilities of the Trade Counter Sales Assistant would be:
Build effective relationships with customers to understand their requirements and supplying correct products.
Identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers.
Ensure that company policies are adhered to at all times when producing sales related paperwork.
Maintain a clean and efficiently merchandised counter area in line with Company Policy
Liaise with suppliers and other branches, departments where necessary
Support the Branch Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within Company Policy
Ensure a tidy working environment at all times in line with Health & Safety Guidelines
Perform any other duties including stock-taking, placing orders with suppliers, contacting customers and as maybe deemed or as required by the Company
Ensure shop stock is clean, clearly identifiable and kept in good order and low stocks highlighted to Branch Management where necessary
Work within company policy and procedures including Health & Safety Guidelines

Requirements of the Trade Counter Sales Assistant:
Excellent customers service skills giving dependable service at all times.
Having lots of knowledge to be able to optimise sales and profit.
To be able to work as part of a team.
