Taylor Root is currently seeking an experienced Trade Mark Paralegal to join our client, an leading US law firm. This role will offered on a permanent basis and will be based in the firms London office.

A prestigious US law firm who has built roots in London since arriving over 40 years ago, the firm have a stellar reputation for being pioneers and market leaders in various areas of law. The Trade Mark’s team are active across a range of sectors with a particular focus in automotive, retail, luxury, apparel, and technology arenas.
The Role
The Trade Mark’s team undertake general Trade Mark and design matters, as well as litigation and the protection and enforcement of Trade Marks. You will play a crucial role in the team, taking on responsibilities such as:
- Directly preparing and filing Trade Marks and managing renewals and other recordals
- Instructing Trade Mark searches and effectively managing client portfolios
- Providing detailed cost estimates and proactive liaison with clients and local agents
- Running a docketing diary, ensuring timely reminders and up-to-date case information
- Conducting due diligence on Trade Mark portfolios and managing Trade Mark records
The Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking someone who has at least 2/3 years of experience working in another successful Trade Mark’s team. Ideally this experience will be from a top law firm in the city, however those with a mixture of private practice and in house experience will still be considered.
