A UK leading multi-award winning building services contractor are currently seeking a Trainee BIM Coordinator in supporting their expanding BIM team at their fabulous new Head Office in Banbridge.
As a Trainee BIM Coordinator, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn how to use a range of computer-aided design software, create technical drawings, and contribute to various design projects.

Job Title | Trainee BIM Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing coordinated modelled solutions for elementary areas
- The production of SSDs and end sheets from the 3D modelled environment
- Incorporating changes to the co-ordinated 3D services model
- Preparation and updating of 2D drawings.
- Incorporating drawing comments in both 2D and 3D
- Applying BIM data to the model
- Raising technical queries and liaising with clients and design team members
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will need to have some experience of the building services environment, with some previous working experience of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services.
- A sound understanding of AutoCAD. Capable of completing tasks with minimal assistance.
- A general understanding of Revit would be beneficial.
- Proficient at annotating drawings to Accord standards.
- A basic understanding of ventilation systems, mechanical, electrical systems. An understanding of how these systems work.
- Capable of producing simple high- and low-level co-ordination of these systems.
- Basic understanding of BIM deliverables and principles.
- Basic understand manufacturing and prefabrication detailing.
- Must have a permanent work visa in place as we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
