Trainee Cost Engineer

The Position

An exciting opportunity available for a graduate to join our team here at Offshore Wind UK (MPI Offshore) in Stokesley, Middlesbrough.

Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the preparation of cost budgets for various projects.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate is passionate about applying their skills to create sustainable and innovative solutions. Possess a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, along with a global perspective and a strong commitment to teamwork. The applicant most hold an engineering degree, or a relevant technical qualification degree. Effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Have the ability to occasionally travel (inter)nationally. An interest in the application of engineering in the tendering process would be an advantage.

Van Oord Traineeship

The IMPACT Traineeship aligns with our strategic vision and values, emphasising the development of individual competencies that resonate with the company's core strategy. This programme is designed to equip you with the necessary tools and mindset for personal growth, while actively contributing to Van Oord's continued success. During the 18-month programme, you will be a part of a group of 24 trainees, gaining hands-on experience in various fields of our organisation within an international setting. The programme comprises three six-month blocks, alternating between Office Periods and Work Periods, offering a structured approach to your development.
