The Role:
As our Trainee Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in reviewing financial data and credit proposals of new customers, managing the credit process, and ensuring efficient communication of KPI updates to the Commercial Manager. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to dive deep into financial assessments and contribute to our company's robust credit management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to review all new business credit proposals.
- Analyze proposed companies’ financials, including business accounts, bank statements, and management information, to inform credit decisions.
- Utilize Creditsafe and various online resources to gather comprehensive information on proposing companies and directors.
- Maintain and update the credit proposal log, ensuring accuracy and organization.
- Efficiently manage proposals during the credit process with our funding partners.
- Provide regular updates on KPI progress to the Commercial Manager, aiding in strategic decision-making.
What We Are Looking For:
- A strong academic background in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a Business-to-Business environment is advantageous.
- Exceptional organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A professional and customer-focused approach to tasks.
- High levels of numeracy, accuracy, and literacy.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
