Trainee Data Analyst

Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Trainee Data Analyst to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join their business. This is the ideal role for a school leaver who is looking for an entry-level role within Data Analysis.

The successful candidate will be good with numbers and have a passion for data and a keen eye for attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with the Data Analysis team to resolve mathematical queries regarding loan payments

- To become the point of contact for any questions or queries related to the data function

- Assist and support the team of senior Data Analysts

- Use an analytical mindset to carry out tasks which may not involve data analysis, supporting other areas of the business where necessary

Key Experience:

- School / College leaver who is good with numbers and has a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical outlook

- A Level in a Mathematical discipline is required (Maths / Physics etc) at a Grade B or above

- Good MS Excel experience

- Able to interpret facts and figures to others in the department

- Excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients of all levels

- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
