Trainee Dental Nurse

We are currently seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our busy dental practice located on Holburn Street, Aberdeen . The applicant should be an excellent communicator who is friendly, enthusiastic and keen to learn new things. Experience is not essential for this position as full training will be provided and courses to become a qualified Dental Nurse will also be available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and Process dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as composite fillings and impression materials
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

-Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset.

-Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges

Must haves:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: £9.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
