Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
-Working in a busy surgery alongside a dentist carrying out patient treatments
-Decontamination and sterilisation of dental instruments
Training will be provided.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using dental office software and computer systems
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and staff members
