Do you have an active interest in electronics down to the circuit board level? This might be the right position for you.
We have partnered with a global electronics company who are looking to hire a new trainee into their hardware department. Based in Speke, Liverpool, you will be working alongside their amazing team to build on your existing skills and experience. The role will focus on the diagnosis, repair and refurbishment of specialist electronics hardware.
The role will include:
- Cleaning, repairing and replacing electronic components.
- Disassembling electronic hardware down to its core parts.
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty circuit boards.
- Diagnosing and repairing power supplies.
- Soldering
- Installing and servicing specialist electronic systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in electronics repair, fault finding or servicing (appliances, control panels, PCBs etc.)
- Some mechanical experience would be beneficial
- Solid IT skills
- Awareness of health and safety requirements
- A valid UK driver's licence (travel may be required for servicing and installation work)
