Job Description:
Enitial (Initial Projects Ltd) are a leading provider of environmental monitoring services throughout the UK servicing the utilities, agricultural, landfill, quarrying, construction and geo-environmental sectors.
Exciting opportunities are currently available in the East Midlands area for trainees looking to begin a career in the environmental sector. Trainees will chiefly undertake aspects of soil sampling and logging across the agricultural sector with a view to expand their skillset in groundwater, surface water, and air quality monitoring in time.
A fully expensed company vehicle will be provided as travel is essential - candidates must hold a full UK driving licence with the expectation to travel daily across the region and to various sites in order to carry out duties.
Previous experience of fieldwork and working with electronic devices is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team, with the strong desire to work outdoors in all seasons.
