Trainee Events Manager  
Location: Gloucester – MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE  
Hours: Fulltime, Permanent  
Salary: £26,000 per annum plus bonus – EXCELLENT CAREER PROGRESSION

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Events Manager  

• Support all logistical administration, ensuring compliance with event requirements, health and safety legislation, food hygiene, and other necessary regulations. 

• Oversee and manage small events. 

• Plan events, providing diverse offerings and meeting all logistical and safety standards. 

• Create detailed information packs. 

• Supervise event setup, coordinating the placement of units and equipment. 

• Manage event setup and breakdown, including décor and seating arrangements. 

• Monitor sub-contractor performance during events. 

• Oversee post-event breakdown and site cleanup. 

• Assist with credit control and resolve sub-contractor payment issues. 

• Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact. 

• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth operations. 

Key Skills of a Trainee Events Manager 

• Happy to work long hours, staying away from home in the summer time. 

• Must have a full UK driving licence.  

• Experience in either events, hospitality or the sporting / music industry.  

• Willing to get stuck in and work hard to ensure smooth running of an event  

• Fully IT literate 

• Flexible, adaptable, and calm when working under pressure. 

• Positive and self-motivated. 

• Resilient, persistent, and good attention to detail. 

• Honest and trustworthy.
