Are you from an engineering background of some sort, looking to join an expanding and developing company who are offering a full training programme throughout your probationary period and where you will be able to make the most of 4 day working weeks and extensive overtime opportunities?
On offer is the opportunity to join an international company who are industry leaders within the labelling and packaging field, with household names as clients sitting within the supermarket, manufacturing, retail, food and beverage industries, and more. They are looking to expand their team of engineers to ensure that a premium service continues to be delivered to their huge range of longstanding customers.
In this role you will be travelling to customer sites daily to service and maintain the companies own labelling and ink coding machines. You will be developing your skills and knowledge whilst communicating and implementing technical and engineering solutions to the customers and project managers.
This role would suit someone with a proven interest in engineering looking to jumpstart or progress their career, making the most of this companies excellent training opportunities.
The role:
- Travelling mainly round Scotland and Northern England (with occasional further travel around the UK) to customer sites, installing, commissioning and conducting maintenance works on various labelling and inking machines. Overnight stays required occasionally.
- 6 weeks intensive training at HQ on the equipment and machines that are manufactured by the company, with regular top up training and support days after probationary period
- Promoting the full range of labelling products, including service contracts, spare parts, and assisting, recognising and reporting equipment sales leads
- First 6 months // Monday - Friday (5 x 8 hr days)
- After probation // Monday - Friday (4 x 10hr days with one day off)
The Person:
- Proven interest in engineering essential (collage course, previous job role etc)
