Trainee Financial Adviser

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to grow into and become an established Financial Planner/Adviser. You will learn a lot very quickly as you will be part of a busy and close-knit friendly team that will help you develop at every stage. You will be involved in the whole advice process. This role is available due to consistent levels of organic growth within the company. Subject to your performance and experience you will be client facing within months with a view to full sign off within 6 months. This is due to the unique one to one training, development and regular opportunities to see clients and the close contact that you will have from the Founder/Director and further support from the other advisers and the rest of the team.

As we are a relatively small company you will feel part of a growing and exciting team that will support you and help you develop. This will also mean you will need to have a certain amount of initiative and a growth mind set with a willingness to grow and adapt.

At Clarity Wealth Limited we believe in putting the client at the front of our advice process. This means we concentrate on holistic financial planning (pension, protection, investment and cashflow planning) while being truly independent and directly authorised by the FCA. We have no contingent relationships with funds or providers and use metric-based research to ensure we provide client centric advice. This means as an adviser you can engage and service your clients knowing that you are providing a fantastic service.

Due to the extensive training, it will be office based in Horsforth with the team but this can change into a more flexible role once sign off has been achieved and flexibility is an option when needed. The amount that you will learn in a short space of time is unique and is due to the close working environment and the full cycle business process that you will be involved in.

We are also able to offer a very attractive payment and bonus scheme that ensures as you develop you will be renumerated on an increasing scale with uncapped earning potential. We will pay for your exams to become chartered. There will be regular new client opportunities and the successful candidate will also be expected to build and develop their own professional connections over time.

Discretionary annual bonuses are available and have been paid every year to all staff to date. Death in service of 4 times salary and pension provision are available. We care about our staff and clients and want to ensure that they are looked after

The suitable candidate would have the following skills / attributes:

• Motivated, career focused and possessing a keen interest in financial services
• A client centred approach who is friendly and professional
• Has achieved the Level 4 Diploma or one exam left to go
• IFA administration/para planning experience
• Good general knowledge of investment and pensions products

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Meeting potential new clients to ascertain their current and future financial planning needs
• Present Investment Advice in accordance with current regulations and within the firms standards and procedures
• Paraplanning and all areas of admin support
• Work with the wider support team for the benefit of the business
• Maintain the existing client relationships
• Building and maintaining a strong network of professional connections
• Identify and make suggestions to the Investment propositions and make recommendations
