We are seeking a Trainee Fire Risk Assessor to join our team. As a Trainee Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for assisting in the assessment and evaluation of Fire Risks in various buildings and facilities. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in Fire Risk assessment from our experienced team. Calson Solutions will also put you through Fire Risk Assessor training as part of your development. We will also provide a company van.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting Fire Risk assessments in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines using our mobile app and tablet
- Collect and analyse data related to fire safety measures, including building layout, fire protection systems, and emergency evacuation plans
- Identify potential fire hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
- Collaborate with senior assessors to develop comprehensive Fire Risk assessment reports
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of fire safety regulations and assessment techniques
- Maintain accurate records of assessments conducted and findings obtained
Skills:
- Hard working and self motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Basic IT skills (emails, use of tablet, Microsoft etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and identify potential risks
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with building codes and standards related to fire safety
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
