Job Title:Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Basis: Full time Permanent Employed Role
Location: Based at new offices in Wakefield, during the initial 18 month training period. but once training is complete and you gain promotion to a Mortgage and Protection Adviser**, the role becomes a HOME BASED.
Target: Candidates with a strong desire to work within the Financial Services arena, with a strong demonstrable track record in customer service and sales.
Year One Rewards**: £20K basic salary with an OTE of £34K-£38K. Overtime regularly available paid at £150 per day.
After 12 Months**: Basic salary increase to £25K with an OTE of £40K-£45K. Overtime regularly available paid at £150 per day.
After 18 Months**: You will become a fully CeMAP Qualified, Home Based Mortgage Adviser, with a basic salary of up to £35K and an OTE of £70K.
CeMAP Support*: We will provide full financial support to gain CeMAP Mortgage Adviser qualifications, including full provision for study materials with all exam entry costs paid for.
Working Hours: Whilst working as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser you will work an average of 34 hours per week with variable shift patterns. You will be required to work alternate weekends on rota with weekday time off in lieu.

As a Trainee Mortgage Adviser your role will initially consist of office-based working as first point of contact for customers, this is an important and integral part of my clients organisation, teams are highly trained and work to high expectations and are responsible for managing customer’s first impressions, the experience gained will be invaluable to you once you become a Mortgage Adviser.
Initially you will be responsible for making and receiving calls to and from customers who referred to my client, your role will require you to accurately record their details as part of their mortgage application, with the intention of arranging an appointment with one of their specialists Mortgage Advisers.
The ideal Trainee Mortgage Adviser should have the following skills:
- A strong desire to work within the Financial Services Industry, particularly within mortgages and protection.
- A strong track record in customer service and sales.
- Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format.
- Organised, and adopts a disciplined and structured approach to work.
- Highly competent user of IT and a competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
