AddressWe are currently looking for a trainee or Garage Hand to help out in our works unit, where we work on Light Goods Vehicles.
We are a business who run vehicle contract maintenance and repairs for large companies throughout England.
The position is for a trainee vehicle technician or Garage Hand for our works unit based in Kingswinford.
This role will be assisting our vehicle technician on a full time basis, if you are a trainee you will be shown the ropes along the way. If you have any experience this would be of use, but as long as you have a can-do attitude and you are self motivated with an interest in this industry, please send me your CV or message me with more information about yourself.
Our Vehicle Tech carrys out various repairs on site, mainly engine rebuilds and larger jobs along with the following;
- Carry out servicing and repairs on a variety of makes and classes of vehicle, mostly LGV. Examples jobs include general servicing, brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension, exhaust repairs (including EGR and DPF) and wiring repairs.
- Diagnose complex faults using diagnostic equipment including electrical and mechanical faults.
- Diagnose faults reported by customer including going on test drives to identify noises, rattles, judders, vibrations etc
You will be required to complete your work onsite within our works unit, but there may be another engineer on a site that would need assistance in the depots we cover.
We require someone to work Mon-Fri, there is an option for overtime and further weekend work if you require.
