As a Trainee Outdoor Pursuits Instructor (Climbing Focus), you will gain a comprehensive experience developing skills in a supportive and collegiate environment. This Climbing Focused role may be of interest to those with an active interest in climbing or bouldering. Much of the post holders delivery will be conducted in our state-of-the-art climbing wall) opening September 2024), the largest roped wall within 50 miles of Cambridge! The role is divided between training, activity instruction and administration tasks. You will have the opportunity to attend 4 residential trips and 25 days of activity delivery (non-residential) per year. The Outdoor Education Department also delivers a wide range of specialist extra-curricular clubs, physical education provision and commercial climbing activities. Extra-curricular clubs include Climbing Club, Paddlesports Club, Woodworking Club and Archery Club. Commercial climbing activities are delivered through the Perse Climbing Academy.
