We have several excellent opportunities for Trainee Quantity Surveyors to join the business. Roles can be based from either our Edinburgh office (Newbridge) or our Paisley Head Office.
We are keen to discuss the roles with recent school leavers, individuals already studying towards a relevant degree or individuals who are about to graduate in 2024 (or graduated in 2023)
Role & Responsibilities
Working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors / Commercial Managers the successful candidates will:
· Assisting a team of surveyors within the Company.
· Work closely with Contracts Management and Estimating departments.
· Take an active role in Clark Contracts’ Supply Chain Management Initiative to ensure relationships are developed with subcontractors.
· Additional duties as required.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
· A Strong academic background, with a focus on mathematics.
· The ability to solve problems by acting on own initiative.
· Be IT literate with excellent knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
· Be self-motivated and proactive.
· A positive attitude and the ability to integrate and play an active part in our project teams.
