Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
- Conduct cost analysis and advise on procurement strategy
- Perform risk and value management
- Manage project finances from the initial calculations to the final figures
- Track changes to the design and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legal requirements
- Proficiency in cost control techniques
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
