Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, such as the elderly, disabled, or those with medical conditions
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Help with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Document and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility as required
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs
- Reliable transportation - mileage paid at 30p per mile, for drivers. Travel reimbursed
- No experience is necessary as full training and support is provided
