We are looking for a Trainee transport planner/ warehouse operative
Hours:
Monday to Friday of 6am - 3pm with an hour for lunch
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
Job Duties:
• Create efficient and compliant daily delivery plan to maximise the vehicle productivity of our collection and delivery fleet
• Work in accordance with required KPI’s to ensure service delivery in line with expectation.
• Handle day to day queries related to driver challenges
• Liaise with the Collections (Input Customers) and Trunking Co-Ordinator to ensure that the delivery plan fully supports the customer collection plan each day
• Operational warehouse
• Previous experience in a similar role in the logistics sector
• Knowledge of the geography of the local area to aid efficient vehicle planning
• Methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail
• Highly organised and excellent time management
• Strong customer care focus
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Computer literacy essential and able to use Microsoft Office and learn new systems
