We are looking to establish a new training team at our Rochdale site, as our Training coordinator you will work alongside the training manager & Trainer to deliver all training requirements within our factory environment.
Our Training coordinator will be at the heart of business and support our colleagues across a full training suite which will cover Company inductions, factory floor, food hygiene, employee and equipment sanitation, and quality assurance. Utilising out inhouse training system to keep track of training , develop our colleagues and share the great training stories.
Ideally you will come from a Training background, solid understanding of inhouse training administration and ability to build relationships with all colleagues.
Training coordinator responsibilities:
- Devise , and deliver the requirements of the annual site training plan.
- Create training material that is fit for purpose & meet required food safety manufacturing standards
- Translate SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and day to day working into deliverable training modules
- Identify and define process training and development gaps within the manufacturing processes, to deliver sustainable improvements.
- Manage and maintain the e learning platform and create and deliver learning content.
- Conduct organisation-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps
- Map out annual training plans for departments and individuals
- Select appropriate training delivery methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
- Work closely with wider group to draw up on training resources and shared best practice
- Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance on all mandatory and line related training material meets required standards
Training coordinator skills:
- Professional Trainer Certificate (desirable)
- Managing a Learning Management System (desirable)
- Excellent people skills alongside a great communicator
- Ability to identify and put into practice improvement ideas.
- Experience of Articulate or other training packages would be desirable.
- Experience in a training role within the manufacturing environment
- Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proven experience in managing multiple tasks/projects successfully
