Job description

Reed are delighted to be working with a well-respected, award-winning, innovative organisation based in Norwich city centre who are searching for a Training Coordinator to join their fantastic team.

We are looking for someone to develop working relationships and partnerships across different sectors, to maximise opportunities for growth and development, as well as coordinate the growth and delivery of training programmes. 

An exciting part of this role is to specifically embed this expertise within businesses to provide safe spaces and appropriate support.

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours per week. This role could include occasional evening and weekend work.

Salary: £26,000 - £27,500 per annum fte.

Main Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement a range of training, assessment and evaluation packages for professionals across various sectors.
  • To deliver and embed training within businesses.
  • To establish a comprehensive data collection system to measure the success and progress of projects, as well as incorporating service-user feedback into reviews of the programme.
  • To ensure high standards and up to date course material in accordance with legislation and best practice.
  • To review and implement a charging mechanism for the various course options.
  • To deliver and embed training and awareness in a range of settings including the night time economy businesses, covering a range of topics including misogynistic culture and myths, risks to women and girls at night, impact of sexual violence, harassment and abuse, consent and boundaries and bystander responses.
  • To work with the Licensing Security and Vulnerability Initiative (Licensing SAVI) to develop standards and a framework for the new Women’s Night Safety Charter Badge to demonstrate businesses offering safe spaces and responses to women and girls.
  • To identify and work with at least 6 NTE businesses in Norwich to support them with improving their approaches and responses to ensure women and girls safety at night through training and/or the award of the Women’s Night Safety Charter Badge.
  • To support other businesses connected to the NTE to promote awareness around women’s safety at night including consent, boundaries, when to intervene, support methods and policies to improve safety.
  • To develop working relationships and partnerships across different sectors to maximise opportunities for growth, development and income-generation to bring about sustainability for the programme.
  • To attend partnership and multi-agency meetings as required and to represent the organisation.
  • To establish a comprehensive data collection system to measure the success and progress of the project as well incorporating service-user feedback into reviews of the programme.
