The Training Manager manages the Training Operations – Salesforce Administrator, Certified Instructors, and Training Administrator to manage our range of courses globally and reports to the CEO and COO
A passion for supporting adults from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences with their career goals is essential for this role.
Supermums delivers virtual live training and on-demand courses that are repeated throughout the year hosted in two time zones that are accessible globally via virtual software.
This role would be responsible for project managing the launching a series of on-demand training courses for Udemy.
Responsibilities
Business Objectives
Support and drive change to help the growth plan of the company.
Develop proactive strategies for managing and improving student progression and achievements with measurable success.
Planning and Execution, and Delivery of new training tracks
Presentation of Performance KPIs at Quarterly Meetings
Project Management
Manage the day-to-day running of the training team’s logistics
Very experienced in team management and coordination to deliver on time and budget.
Experienced in project management, ideally within the training or education sector.
Experienced in using project management systems for planning tasks for a team – we currently use Quip and Slack to manage the planning and execution of training courses.
Experienced in reporting to senior stakeholders and liaising with multiple projects to deliver projects successfully.
Competent in managing multiple projects at one time.
Pastoral Support
Completing the trainee onboarding process and welcome calls.
Case management to resolve any issues or questions that arise during the course.
Completing mid-course progress reviews with trainees to evaluate, provide guidance, and ensure accountability.
Completing the work experience matching process with students and answering queries.
Dealing with complaints and feedback
Regular monitoring of trainees’ progress and intervening where required.
Training Co-ordination
Co-ordinating the training instructors and volunteer trainers.
Launching weekly live webinars for students, introducing trainers, and working with the Training Administrator.
Working with instructors and team to maintain course material and marketing in Appinium
Maintain excellent relationships with external agencies involved in training.
Volunteer Management
Completing volunteer interest calls to deem suitability and match with correct roles.
Onboarding new volunteers.
Completing the volunteer mentor matching process at the beginning of each cohort.
Tracking volunteer time logs, quality control, and evaluation of volunteer programme and retention.
Measures of Success
- Student Attainment Rates – 75% Certification Rates
- Stakeholder Feedback Scores – Min of 4 out of 5
- Student and Mentor Retention Rates – 80%
Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience:
Experience in managing students, certified trainers, and volunteers
A passion for training and education and empowering students.
A passion for Salesforce as a product and how it can provide opportunities for trainees.
A great track record in demonstrating academic attainment and positive outcomes.
Proficient user experience working with virtual learning software and communication software – LMS software, Zoom, Outlook, Sharepoint, Quip, Slack, amongst others.
Personal attributes required – Leadership qualities, organisation skills, people management skills, motivational skills, confidence, excellent customer care skills, self-starter, takes initiative, solution provider, attention to detail, team player, keen to learn. Clear on personal career goals and committed to achieving business performance targets.
Preferred Credentials:
End user experience of Salesforce
Coaching experience/qualification
Required Working Pattern:
This role requires a varied work pattern across day and evening due to US time zones
Daytime hours will require working afternoons until 5 pm on some days due to USA time zones.
Up to 2 evenings a week – Tuesday and Thursday UK time 6-9 pm UK time when USA training courses run.
