Transactional Finance Manager

We are looking for a Transactional Finance Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team in the public sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing transactions, managing a team, and providing financial advice and support to the department.

Description

The Transactional Finance Manager duties include;

• Overseeing daily transactions, including payroll, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
• Managing the finance team and developing their skills.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Providing guidance on financial matters to the department.
• Developing and implementing financial policies.
• Preparing periodic reports and conducting financial analysis.
• Working closely with the senior management team to make informed decisions.

Profile

A successful Transactional Finance Manager should have:

• AAT or other Level 4 qualification
• A grasp of Force Financial Regulations and Policies and an understanding of wider accounting regulations and principle
• Substantial and relevant understanding of a finance system with knowledge of relevant transaction flows.
• Demonstrate a track record of providing a high quality, customer focused financial service

Job Offer
