The role:
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Demonstrate an understanding of complex TP concepts and effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations
● Proactively managing a portfolio of clients and projects including all aspects of financial and risk management
● Working with clients and helping them to manage their Transfer Pricing risk
● Analyse information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions
● Develop and deliver quality Transfer Pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services / work products
● Prepare documentation, participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defend Transfer Pricing in audits, work in the valuation of intangible assets; and develop quality, practical planning services
● Identify and pursue Transfer Pricing opportunities with the aim to get new engagements
● Assist in the work of client service team members
● Participation in developing recommendations and implementation plans
● Contribute to attaining team goals
● Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
● Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
● Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
● Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Skills and attributes:
● Hold a recognized university degree and/or professional accounting qualification
● Have strong business technical knowledge with at least 2 years’ experience in tax advisory, ideally in a professional services organisation
