two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) is the Group’s non-ring-fenced bank and a separate legal entity. It is a diverse, cross-jurisdictional business offering a range of products to many different client types. Our CD Risk team provides support and guidance across the end-to-end legal entity, on all risk types ensuring senior management and the executive team can make informed decisions when considering the risk profile (including, Economic Crime, Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk).
Working with the other LBCM teams we provide proactive support, informative guidance, and constructive challenge relating to the CD profile and control environment. The team are experts in our field, proactively driving positive outcomes for our customers and colleagues.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as Senior Manager, reporting directly into the Head of Risk, Crown Dependencies and collaborating closely with the team and managing a wide variety of stakeholders across the CD LBCM, and the broader Group through the Shared Service Model.
As Senior Manager, you’ll be responsible for the following key activities and initiatives:
Fulfilling regulatory compliance requirements, specifically those relating to non-financial risks (excluding Economic Crime) including Conduct, which help build a sustainable control framework to support CD growth plans. Also responsible for leading the regulatory risk and compliance for the CD Business which includes Retail Banking, Commercial Banking and Consumer Finance across three jurisdictions. In addition, responsible for the design and delivery of the CD Assurance plan which feeds into the three lines of defence Compliance Monitoring Plan.
Transformational analysis and implementation of strategic change across the 1LOD CD risk team (including UK onshore team and touch points) working with the Head of Risk and Strategy leads across the wider LBCM. Act as an ambassador for cultural change within the team, and across the wider business to embed risk knowledge across the business and to include a commercial approach to implementing controls.
Leadership & Development. Lead and develop the Business Risk and Assurance team, actively seeking new ways to grow oneself and the capability of others. Develop a high performing culture enabling colleagues to be their best through initiative-taking coaching, and collaborative leadership.
