Transition Teacher for SEMH Secondary School

About the Role:
As a Transition Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing students with a strong foundation in their core curriculum. Following a primary model of single class teaching, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across various subjects. Additionally, you will collaborate with specialist instructors in areas such as Science, Forest School, and Food Tech to ensure a holistic learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Provide specialist support to students in areas such as Science, Forest School, and Food Tech.
  • Foster a nurturing environment for learning, focusing on the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs of students.
  • Implement innovative and student-centered teaching methods to inspire academic curiosity and growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Innovative and inspirational approach to teaching and learning.
